1.1.1 Email
When an account has been created an email sholuld've been sent to the user from Gagnask ý – IREI. The email will contain the login name of the user on IREIs cloud storage, ireigogn.hi.is.
1.1.2 Password Setup
If user has an account at the University of Iceland then he should be able to use the same login credentials for their login as for their university account.
If however the user does not have an account at the University of Iceland then he‘ll be required to read through the instructions, accessible in chapter 1.3. In that chapter the user is guided through instructions on how to setup their password for their account.
1.1.3 First Sign-in (Two Factor Authenticator)
On the first signing attempt the account needs to be connected to a two-factor authentication through an authentication app on your phone (for example. Microsoft Authenticator or Google Authenticator). In the beginning the user needs to navigate to ireigogn.hi.is and write down their information, either through your login name or email and password. During the first login a window should appear containing the sentence „Setup two-factor authentication“ which requests the user to setup TOTP.
